About COPSA
Comprehensive Services on Aging (COPSA) has been providing compassionate, state-of-the-art mental health care for individuals and families in New Jersey since its inception in 1975. An interdisciplinary team of dementia specialists, including a Board Certified Geriatric Psychiatrist, Social Workers and Case Mangers provide diagnosis, treatment and research for individuals and families dealing with memory issues.
The COPSA Institute for Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Disorders offers trainings for doctors, nurses, social workers and other health care professionals who work with older adults. Trainings and educational presentations are also available for caregivers and community members.
Care2Caregivers provides free and confidential telephone counseling, education, support, referrals and resources for New Jersey individuals and the caregivers who support them. Trained peer counselors who have also been family caregivers can help with every step on the caregiving journey.
